La Paz County was established in 1983.  I had the great privilege of serving as the District 2 Supervisor from 1989 - 1992.  As the newest county in the nation, we were off to a pretty good start.  There were many caring people pulling together in a positive direction.
Today after being a county for 33 years it’s not a pretty picture.  Our county is in serious financial trouble.  (That’s not election year banter... it’s very real).  So why are we in this situation?  I believe there are three very important things missing from our County Government-  Leadership, Accountability, and Ethics.  These three things are incredibly important to me and I want to bring them back to our County.
I want to see our county government be open and honest.
I have been very fortunate in my life, and La Paz County has been really good to me and my family.  I am running for Supervisor because I can’t stand watching our county go down any more.  I can’t do it alone though... I NEED YOUR HELP!
I’m asking you to vote for me in the Primary Election August 30, 2016 and then in the General Election November 8, 2016.  I want you to know that I set high standards for myself and others.  I believe that when you elect me to serve as your District 2 Supervisor you should have expectations that I will work hard to get our county back on the right track.
I appreciate you visiting my website.  I hope you will take time to navigate your way through more of the site so I can share more specifics and important information with you.  I ask for your vote August 30, 2016 and November 8, 2016.  (Of course Early Voting will be available prior to each of the two dates).

Early Voting Is Underway!

Thank you again for your support and the confidence you showed in me in the Primary Election for Supervisor, District 2.  This campaign has become a movement to turn our County Government around, open it up, and make it fair for all of us.
Our victory in the Primary means we now move on to the General Election on November 8th.  With an Independent candidate on the ballot, there is still a lot of work to do, and I NEED YOUR HELP!
We must continue to inform voters about the challenges facing our county and what it will take to turn things around.  First of all, I have committed to step down from a great job as the Executive Director at PAACE and work full time as your District 2 Supervisor.  It will require a full time effort to deal with our county finances.
We must also make economic development a priority in order to create growth in La Paz County.  Population growth will allow the expenses of county government to be shared by more people and reduce the tax burden on our current tax payers.
I appreciate the financial support I received during the Primary Election.  As we move to the General Election I will be self-funding a portion of the campaign, and have commitments from a number of supporters.  We want to finish strong, so I am asking anyone who believes in the movement we have created to do what you can to help support this part of our campaign.  All donations are greatly appreciated.  Donations can be made by clicking on the Pay Pal Button on the top of  this page.
Donations may only come from individuals - no money can be accepted from corporations, including LLC’s.  The maximum donation from any one individual is $6,250.  All contributions of any size are appreciated!.
